Testimonials

"I put an ad on Facebook for someone to run 2 Excavator Npors courses ASAP. Within minutes I’d had a response and by then end of the week we’d been fully tested and passed. Massive thanks to Dan for assessing us. Shame we couldn’t of had a pint in the sun! See you soon, all the best."
Corby Wilson, Self Employed

“From the very beginning Dan had a fantastic rapport with everyone involved, using his experience on site and within the industry to provide real-life-scenarios and application to every aspect of the training. His teaching is relaxed, attentive and friendly whilst maintaining a professional and clear attitude. Dan just not provide training, but a mixture of team building, sharing of knowledge and confidence boosting to all involved.”
Mick Osman, Director of RAZE Projects

“Recommend Dan all the way!!! Needed 3 tickets, a roller, dumper and telescopic. One of the nicest blokes I've met, really put things into perspective seeing as though he’s got a full background in groundworks and machine operating. If you’re nervous, don’t be; because you’ll forget you’re even doing a test with Dan. Top bloke and thanks Finnoah Training & Service"

What is the difference between course and EWT (Experienced Worker Testing)

Courses are in place for those who need to learn the fundamentals required to operate that piece of plant safely and effectively.

Experienced Worker Testers (EWT’s) are for individuals that have previous experience and require testing to demonstrate their understanding.

How much does it cost?
There are a number of factors that go into your course/testing price as we work with self-employed contractors through to large companies looking for multiple tests in one day. Our testing starts from £230 and courses start at £195. For an accurate quote please hit the button below and our team will be more than happy to help.
How long does it take?
Each category has its own duration due to the amount of detail required in each course. Experience Worker Testing takes no more than a day and can be done in as little as 3 hours. Courses can range from 2 to 5 days across class room and on site practical work. You can see more detailed information on the course page or contact our team for more information.
How quickly will I get my card?
Courses can range from 2 to 10 days | We complete all your paperwork on the day and notify NPORS allowing you to immediately use your new qualification on site.
Do I need a course or an Experience Worker Test?
Once you have submitted your interest through the website we complete a short phone call to ensure you have the relevant experience to pass your test on site with a cover letter valid for 45 days. You will receive your physical card within 7 to 10 working days. If during this call we believe you do not have the relevant experience we will recommend alternative options to develop your career in construction.

“I’ve spent my entire career in construction from site operative, supervisor to running my own company managing multiple gangs.

I’ve learnt over this time that what I enjoy the most is not building things, but building careers and I’m lucky that I get to do this every day at Finnoah Training.

There is simply no better feeling than having someone pass an assessment knowing that operative now has more opportunities in front of them”
